Pineo Medical Ecosystem operates as a multidisciplinary medical center based on the former Fourth Maternity Hospital and serves any patient in need of medical care.
In 2015, the former maternity hospital was purchased by a team, consisting of well-known professionals in the domain of healthcare in Georgia: Zaza Sinauridze, Sandro Tsiskaridze, Avtandil Imedadze, Andro Dzneladze, Armaz Tavadze, and Iagor Kalandadze.
This association became unique for the Georgian healthcare system, as professionals were given the opportunity to develop their directions in the clinic.
Nowadays, the Pineo Medical Ecosystem is a fourth-level Referral Clinic, and third-level Perinatal Center that consists of high quality medical services, the latest high-tech services and experienced specialists.
The multidisciplinary of the clinic offers patients services of different areas in one space:
- The Department of Obstetrics offers patients traditional obstetric services and the diagnosis as well as management of genetic abnormalities of the fetus during pregnancy. Only with us amniocentesis is performed, which allows us to manage pregnant women on time.
Our team was the first in the Caucasus to introduce an innovative concept, home-type maternity hospital – “Pineo Luxury”, whose main purpose was to create a comfortable and safe environment for pregnant women:
- The clinic has an emergency service, resuscitation, intensive care unit and neonatal resuscitation department (NICU) staffed by a team of professionals.
In the emergency room, the patient’s health is evaluated, the condition is determined; the treatment process is precisely planned and coordinated. The Intensive Care Unit serves patients that are in critical cases, as well as patients with a wide range of diseases:
- One of the strongest directions of Pineo Medical Ecosystem is the Department of Neurology, headed by Alexander Tsiskaridze. Here, for the first time in Georgia, reperfusion therapy for acute stroke was introduced – systemic thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy.
