June 14 is observed worldwide as World Blood Donor Day — an important occasion that highlights the significance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives.
To mark this special day, on June 13, employees of the Pineo Medical Ecosystem Clinic demonstrated a strong sense of civic responsibility by participating in a voluntary blood donation campaign. As part of the event, a total of 18 employees donated blood voluntarily. Each donor gave 400–450 ml of blood, which may help save the lives of multiple patients.
The blood collection process was overseen by Ekaterine Kharebava, Head of Transfusion Medicine, who ensured the safety and quality of the procedure. The campaign was organized by Pineo’s Marketing Department.
Photo and video materials from the event were actively shared on social media, further emphasizing the importance of voluntary blood donation and helping to promote the example set by Pineo’s staff.
