Dr. Aleksi Sekhniashvili
Dr. Aleksi Sekhniashvili is an accomplished orthopedic-traumatologist with extensive experience in various medical institutions across Georgia. Born on October 19, 1988, in Gori, Georgia, Dr. Sekhniashvili is a proud Georgian citizen, currently residing in the village of Akhaldaba, near Gori.
Dr. Sekhniashvili graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University in 2012, earning an academic degree as a certified physician. His postgraduate education includes a residency program in orthopedics and traumatology at the O. Gudushauri National Medical Center, completed in 2022. Throughout his career, Dr. Sekhniashvili has been actively involved in clinical practice, research, and education, holding significant roles in prominent medical facilities.
Currently, he serves as an orthopedic-traumatologist at Vivamedi and the Telavi Referral Hospital under Georgian Clinics. His professional journey includes years of service as a junior doctor in institutions such as the Elizabeth Blackwell Hospital and the K. Eristavi Experimental and Clinical Surgery National Center. Additionally, Dr. Sekhniashvili has gained international exposure through his training at the Elisabeth Foundation Hospital in Germany, focusing on urgent surgery.
